Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen. I am an American-born Vietnamese entrepreneur living in the city of Orange California. My wonderful husband JP and my jolly dad Henry. People often recognize my username as @annephung on Instagram, where I chronicle my journey - from the ups to the downs. My parents brought my family to America in the year 1990, at which point I was only one and a half years old. I would not be able to share my story with you today if my parents didn't work hard and make sacrifices. In order to give them the chance to have a prosperous future, I focused on success and worked hard in order to reach it. My mind knew what the plan was to live my life. Go to college and graduate. Get married. Purchase a home. Get kids. The life I had planned for me did not turn out to be. The year was 2013, and I discovered that I didn't like being at my corporate job. Money and status did inspire me. I felt like I wasted my time to earn a paycheck. I possessed a love of working out and I enjoyed having fun and helping people while I walked the new direction in my life. I was drawn to personal training. This year I'll be celebrating my 7th Anniversary. In 2014, I started my own small business. It is rare to find an Asian woman in this business. My aim in the industry is to help create a durable and healthy life style that is in line with the desires of my customers. Additionally, I aim to motivate others to follow the goals they have set for themselves so that they can achieve what they would like to accomplish. When my work was taking off, I experienced the greatest loss of my life to datethat of losing my mom. She won her eight-year battle with the disease. She is now resting in Heaven, and I remain close to her in my heart. The universe has a way with giving us exactly what we need even if we're not able to see the lesson at the time. Many ways, my mother's passing changed me. I honestly believe that she gave me another opportunity to experience her loss. It was Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed away. It was her time to begin her new life, and I got another chance to live living a happy and fulfilling life. Now into my 30's I feel alive and aware I truly feel that I am living now rather than merely living as I was in my past. When I share my experience I hope my story will be a source of inspiration for yours. I hope that my words will make you aware that you're not alone. I believe that you are blessed with the ability to achieve whatever you want to achieve. Only one life is yours. I hope you live it to the fullest.
